She obtained a Master of Social Work degree with Honors distinction from Clark Atlanta University with a focus on health & mental health. At Clark, she was a Dean’s Fellow, is a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and a recipient of several academic Fellowships and accolades.
Through holistic practices, Yovanna has healed herself from the pain caused by trauma and has dedicated over 15 years of her life to helping her clients become their best selves.
Yovanna is also a fitness, health & wellness expert, has been a certified personal trainer and Zumba Instructor. Originally from Queens, NY, she is a first-generation Afro-Latina American who loves food, fitness, self-care, reading, and watching documentaries. She is happily married, and mother to 5 children, 2 dogs, and several chickens. She is based in Atlanta, GA, and is currently residing in Washington DC.
